March Wedding

I love the regal look of this fun, gold accented wedding cake.  There's something about gold that is so eye catching.  The coral colored ribbon gives it that extra "wow!"  It doesn't hurt that I absolutely love coral and gold.  This brides style was elegant and classy.

 

 

This next cake I did for a friend in the neighborhood for her birthday.  I designed it the same day I did the wedding cake so it has some of the same design elements used as the wedding cake.  Ruffle cakes are so hot right now and I think they can be quite pretty.  The ruffles are done in buttercream.
