I designed this birthday cake to reflect the recipients love of traveling, shopping and scrapbooking.
It was a double chocolate fudge cake with raspberry cream cheese filling.

Rustic Mountain Lodge Wedding Cake
I took this cake up the side of the mountain in a Gondola in stormy weather earlier in October. Most stressful delivery of my life. Fortunately, the cake survived and was eaten to the last crumb.
I played around with some fondant one day and made some cute pumpkin toppers for these pumpkin and cream cheese cupcakes.
I made these sugar cookies for my kids for their first day back to school. I stamped and sugared some of the dough and piped frosting onto the rest.

Tea Party Inspired Cake
I was able to do this old fashioned, tea party style cake for a brides wedding on August 15th. I like how the teacups add a bit of whimsy to the cake set-up.

Belle and Sleeping Beauty
I made this cake for my twins 7th birthday. As soon as I had finished it, one of my girls dubbed it the "Belle and Sleeping Beauty" cake. I hadn't even planned that out, but I think it's fitting. The gold and dark pink ruffles make the cake stand out. I think it's a perfect design for a pair of princesses.

Ivory and White Wedding Cake
These are the projects I've been working on lately. The wedding cake is ivory on white with a handmade bow.
This is a little going away "honeymoon" cake I did for the same bride and groom.
Chocolate cherry cupcakes.

March Wedding
I love the regal look of this
fun, gold accented wedding cake. There's something about gold that is so eye catching. The coral colored ribbon gives it that extra "wow!" It doesn't hurt that I absolutely love coral and gold. This brides style was elegant and classy.
This next cake I did for a friend in the neighborhood for her birthday. I designed it the same day I did the wedding cake so it has some of the same design elements used as the wedding cake. Ruffle cakes are so hot right now and I think they can be quite pretty. The ruffles are done in buttercream.

Birthday for 3 and 1 additional cake
We have 3 birthdays that fall within a 7 day period in February at our house. Instead of making 3 separate cakes, sometimes I like to create a design that will satisfy all 3 of my children. It can be tough sometimes seeing as there are 2 boys and 1 girl celebrating and there is a 10 year age difference from the oldest to the youngest. This year we are going to Disneyland, and our children will be flying on a plane for the first time ever. I thought this cake was a fun representation of that without making it Mickey Mouse themed and it wasn't too girly or too boyish so that all could enjoy it.
The second cake I made for a repeat customer who's mother was turning 90.
